CHRONOVAULT

ChronoVault began as a student project in college but the group continued to work on it after graduation. The game is a virtual reality dungeon crawler where a player in VR must make their way through a procedurally generated dungeon using weapons and magic they find throughout their quest. The journey is made harder by a second player, outside of VR on a PC, dropping in monsters for the VR player to fight or evade. The game was made in Unity.

I was project lead and gameplay programmer. I was responsible for staying on schedule which I was successful in despite a short time frame and an ambitious project. I was also responsible for all gameplay interactions in the VR side of the game. From AI to combat encounters, magic systems, and the procedural generated dungeons. I worked closely with another developer on the team who worked on the online connection and PC side of the game to create a seamless and fun experience for both sides.
